The women’s division in WWE known as the Divas division, has a long history and has gotten little more attention in the past year. The current title has only around for six years. The first women’s title was introduced in 1956 after the fabulous and the most famous Moolah won the belt in a Women’s tournament. Michelle McCool (217 days)

Michelle McCool was the most dominating among other Divas, and perform her best reign in the Women’s title belt. After winning the title from Melina in 2009, McCool holds the title for 217 days. She gets a long title run. She later loses the title in 2010 at the Royal Rumble Championship match.

The Spider Lady (220 days)

In the most controversial Women’s title in the match history that is known as “The Original Screwjob”. The spider lady was called spider lady because of her mask on face, stoles the women’s title. Ricther was the face of the women’s division through the mid 1980’s but late 1985 her relationship with WWE had taken a negative turn. Spider lady gets the title for 220 days.

Wendi Richter (239 days)

Wendi was actually a two time Women’s Champion. She win her second championship in the WresleMania 1985 over Leilani kai.

Richter attacked the masked lady known as Spider lady. Later Richter had refused to sign a new contract with WWE. Richter later says that she is wrestling due to her contract with WWE, though she had many disagreements over this contract. Richter took a sudden flight to New York and never spoke to Moolah again.

AJ Lee (295 days)

She was among the best and most famous diva of the WWE. She defeated Kaitlyn at last years Payback pay per view and begin to go on much longer for her historic reign. Aj then provide a cut very memorable promo on the entire cast of Total Divas, claiming she was the only real diva in WWE. She retained the important title for 295 total days.

Aludra Blayze (342 days)

The Women’s title has been vacant for three years, the WWE reintroduced the title in 1933. In December, Blayze won a six woman tournament and began her reign. She keeps her reign for 342 days. And at last, Nakano defeated Blayze for the title in November, 1994. The title was once again be vacated before it brought back in 1998.

Moolah (380 days)

She again makes her name in the list of most reigning divas. After her run as a spider lady, Moolah remain champion until she lose her tilte  in July of 1986.

Sensational Sherri (441 days)

After Moolah in the list of famous reigning divas, WWE need a new face for their diva’s division. And then Sensational Sherri appeared. Sherri defeated Moolah in July 1987. That ends with the famous journey of Moolah. Sherri held the title for 15 months. Then she eventually loses the title.

Trish Stratus (448 days)

Many consider her the greatest Diva’s of the WWE. Her sixth title proved to be the longest reign for about 448 days. She later suffers from an injury in the midst of the title reign. She ends up as the best storylines in the WWE history.
